Montana's First Brewery Guidebook is Published

Montana Beer: A Guide to Breweries in Big Sky Country

The long-awaited debut of Montana's first official brewery guidebook is here! Montana Beer Finder is pleased to announce that its founder and principal beer spotter, Ryan Newhouse, has written Montana Beer: A Guide to Breweries in Big Sky Country (The History Press, July 2013), with a foreword by Senator Max Baucus.

In this book Ryan details the start-up stories and current production of each of Montana's 38 craft breweries in operation. Given that our state is in the top three in the country for beer consumption and breweries-per-capita, and we are number one for barley production, it was high time we had our own craft beer guidebook.

Ryan also covers the state's rich and entwined 150-year brewing history, giving due credits to the "founding fathers" of Montana beer.

Signed copies are now available for pre-order at http://www.montanabeerbook.com.
