The town of Wolf Point, Montana (pop. 2,646) already has a brewery, Missouri Breaks Brewing, so it makes sense they also have a brewfest, right? The man behind the brewery, Dr. Mark Zilkoski (aka. Doc Z) has lined up 14 different Montana breweries to participate in the first-ever Wolf Point Brewfest.
breweries include Outlaw Brewing, Uberbrew, Lewis and Clark, Blackfoot, Belt,
Bowser, Beaver Creek, Missouri Breaks, Carters, Angry Hanks, Red Lodge,
Yellowstone, Big Sky, and Bayern.
Taking place on Saturday June 15 at the Marvin Brookman Stadium from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., Doc Z also had help from the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce, Western Bank (which is celebrating its 100th Anniversary) and High Plains Motors.
Food will be available for purchase from the Stampede committee, and live music will be playing. Proceeds from the event will help the Chamber fund a full-time position, allowing them to do more with planning other fun events throughout the year.
Though the brewfest starts at 6:00 p.m., other festivities will be going on that day too, including a
Rods and Rides Car Show, burnout contest and blow-up car auction from 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m., and Western Bank’s 100th Anniversary Celebration from noon to 4 p.m.
Tickets for the brewfest are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. For more information, contact Western Bank at (406)
