Blackfoot Winter Ale Released Today in Helena

Better act quick, as Blackfoot River Brewing Company in Helena, Montana, just released its next Blackfoot Brewer’s Reserve beer, a Winter Ale aged in Dry Fly Distilling Wheat Whiskey barrels.

From Blackfoot River Brewing’s Facebook:
This beer is rich, creamy brown in color. The aroma is of caramel malts, dried dark fruits, mild fruity yeast esters, whiskey and oak. The unique combination of grains and molasses create a rich and malty full-bodied beer that is balanced by the subtle flavors of rye and hops that lead into a slightly dry finish. The whiskey barrel aging process brings out flavors of whiskey, oak, toffee and cinnamon.

Limit two bottles per person. $15 each.

Who’s going to bring some back to Missoula?
